CT Scan
Computed Tomography (CT), also known as computerized tomography, is an advanced x-ray technology that produces a sequence of detailed cross-sectional images of the interior of the entire body. The complex images are produced by rotating a focused x-ray beam around the patient and taking these images from numerous angles, which is guided by a computer. CT examinations produce detailed organ and vessel studies by capturing multiple images. Blue Ridge Radiology has a “64 Slice” scanner which is the most efficient scanner out today.
