Tom Blackburn, M.D.

Dr. Blackburn is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University School of Medicine (Bowman Gray). He served his internship at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and his residency in diagnostic radiology at Emory University in Atlanta. He is a diplomate of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Blackburn was on the radiology staff at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby from 1974 until his retirement in 2000. He has worked part time at Blue Ridge Radiology since 2002. Dr. Blackburn and his wife, Barbara, reside in Shelby. They have two sons and three grandchildren.
